I’m so excited to share my new website with you! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to have it up and running. Please take it for a test drive and find out how easy it is to find out where I’m playing, listen to my music and watch videos. It’s completely compatible with all of your mobile devices so be sure to take me along with you wherever you go. Thanks to Jon Blalock of JMB Web Design & Marketing for his design wizardry and know-how in creating this site.
I had a great summer and I hope you did, too. I spent a lot of time at the beach performing in Amagansett at Stephen Talkhouse (www.stephentalkhouse.com) with Klyph Black and the House Wreckers and playing solo/acoustic in Montauk at The Gig Shack (www.668thegigshack.com). I’m still trying to get the sand out of my guitar.
This Fall brings me a new residency at the Bar Chord (www.barchordnyc.com) in Brooklyn, New York. I’ll be playing solo/acoustic with special guests the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The first Tuesday shows start at 10PM after “Music Trivia.” Come early and give your brain a workout, then stay for some great music. The third Tuesday shows start at 9PM. It’s a terrific place – a real neighborhood bar. All ages, races, orientations – and they LOVE music! It’s a real listening room – but plenty of socializing going on at the same time. There’s even an outdoor backyard – open all year round.
If you’re in the northeastern Pennsylvania area on October 10th, stop on by The Cooperage, 1030 Main Street in Honesdale, Pennsylvania for “Farm & Chef” sponsored by Wayne County Grown. Six chefs preparing delicious local food from over a dozen local, sustainable farms. Not to be missed! 1:30 to 5PM, tickets are available at www.waynecountygrown.org.
When I’m not doing my own show, I play frattoir (cajun rubboard) with The Dirty Water Dogs (cajun/zydeco/funk) in New York City. We’ve got gigs coming up – Friday, October 16th at The Bar Chord starting at 10, and every third Monday at the Ear Inn, (www.earinn.com) 326 Spring Street, New York, NY from midnight to 3AM. So, all you late nighters – I expect to see you there on October 19th! And, mark your calendars for our Monday night show at the Ear on November 16th – it’s my birthday!!
Can’t wait to see you at a show – but until then, keep on keepin’ on.
